Native Tree Give-Away This Saturday in Oldham County!

I am Caecilia Isenhart and my recent efforts restoring areas of Creasey Mahan Nature Preserve

to its natural habitat (see links attached) was important work!
If you attended the educational sessions, you learned all about it and were provided with educational tools to identify and remove invasive species wherever you are. Please keep up the good work because our native wildlife needs you!
Here is another way for you to provide native plant species support in our area… by planting native trees!
These trees are free of charge- please plant them! Here is more information:
Division of Forestry has the annual tree giveaway this Saturday, April 23rd, from 9 AM - 12 PM set up at the Oldham County History Center!
Each household can get a total of 10 trees. The below species will be available:
Red Shumard Oak
Pin Oak
White Pine
Virginia Pine
Northern Red Oak
White Oak
River Birch
Persimmon
