Your donated shoes will fund safe water projects like disaster response projects with the Waterstep WOW cart which can provide thousands of gallons of safe drinking water as a refillable alternative to the disposableb bottles.
Only 20% of plastic water bottles are ever recycled, the rest end up in landfills taking hundreds and hundreds of years to decompose while leaking dangerous chemicals into our soil and water. By 2050 there is estimated to be more plastic than fish in our world’s oceans.
