OLDHAM COUNTY RECYCLING GUIDE : The Oldham County Recycling Center is located at 3943 Jones Drive across from Oldham County High School. This is a free drop-off facility, open from dawn to dusk, 7 days a week. Video-monitoring is used and enforced. All items dropped off become the property of Oldham County. LaGrange franchise customers are allowed to set out up to 4 items on the last pickup of each month. All mattresses left out for pick up must be wrapped in plastic. All customers must call Republic Services to schedule pick up a business day in advance. This can also be done at Republic.com. Republic allows residential customers under the Oldham County franchise agreement to take bulky items or extra garbage and yard waste not taken at the curb at any time during normal operating hours to Valley View Landfill.
